Today, at a meeting between MIDI and the authorized financial intermediaries, it has been confirmed that the Quebec Immigrant Investor Program will reopen on January 19, 2015.

　　The new approach of assigning a quota to each qualified financial intermediary should result in higher quality files and is expected to increase the acceptance rate of the program.

　　The minister has signed a decree to be published in the official Gazette on December 23, 2014. The details are:

　　• January 19 - March 20, intake Quota of 1,750 files, with maximum 1,200 from China;

　　在2015年1月19日至3月20日期间内，共接收1,750份申请;其中最多接收1,200份来自中国的申请。

　　• Complete files should be submitted only;

　　只接收文件完整提供的申请;

　　• New documents to be published online this week;

　　新文件将于本周内发布;

　　• New guide for narrative document;

　　自述书指南说明;

　　• List of required documents (minor modifications);

　　必要文件清单(改动较小);

　　• New application form;

　　新版申请表格;

　　• New investment agreement.

　　新版投资协议。

　　• Application fees are CA$10,106 per family. Payment will be accepted by Canada Post draft, or a draft from a Canadian bank. No credit cards will beaccepted.

　　每个家庭的申请费用为10,106加币。支付方式可通过加拿大邮寄汇票或者加拿大银行汇票，不接受信用卡支付。

　　• Deposit of files will be in Montreal, Canada only.

　　文件须直接寄往加拿大蒙特利尔。

　　Please note that the above does not apply to francophone applicants, who can apply at any time and are not limited by a quota.
